ArtyCat Faces was commissioned to provide face painting for Snazaroo’s advertising campaign promoting its new Brush Pens, bringing the product’s artistic possibilities to life in a whimsical, fairytale-inspired film.

Design Development

Working collaboratively with Salt.TV, Publicis and Snazaroo, we developed and refined the face painting designs over several sessions, ensuring they complemented the campaign’s creative vision and showcased the versatility of the new Brush Pens.

On-Set Face Painting

Filming took place over two days, during which I painted the children and adults featured in the advert, working wirh producers, directors and make up artists. The campaign celebrated the transformative power of face painting, with imaginative designs helping bring the film’s colourful, Wes Anderson-inspired world to life.

Being part of a professional film production was a fantastic experience, combining creative collaboration with the opportunity to see the designs come to life on camera.
